For those of you lovelies who follow me on tumblr, you probably already know about this, but I feel like it's important for me to re-iterate just in case it applies to anyone else here, and I wanted to get your opinions because, well, I respect you like that.

So, it was recently brought to my attention that one of my images (more specifically, a photograph of me, photographed by me) has been "borrowed" and customized by a clothing brand based in Melbourne Australia called JXCESS.

I was informed when a friend of a friend of mine happened on a t-shirt with my head printed on it - literally. She snapped a photo and passed it on.

I tracked down their website and sent them a nice email, letting them know that they are using original copyrighted content that belongs to me, also asking them to stop producing said t-shirts and to remove them from their stores immediately - this includes recalling all the shirts from any stores they've already stocked!

This is the email I received in return:



Sentence 3 basically translates: we'll stop making more shirts but the ones that are stocked elsewhere aren't our responsibility any more.

I'm not asking for any compensation for the profit that they've already made off me, which I have a right to do correct? I generally just want them to TAKE IT BACK!!

This is such bullshit! And the scary thing is, this has happened to quite a few of my friends, illustrators and photographers alike.

I'm trying to work out where to take it from here, without turning it into a unnecessary legal battle over the internet. I sent you an impromtu email lawless523, if you're reading this, I thought of you first lol But any other suggestions would be most welcome, as my knowledge in this field is rather limited, LAMELY ENOUGH.

Remember that short film that I helped work on last May? Well, after a year of production, Allan and the rest of the team have finally pulled it off! I got the chance to meet up with him 2 weeks ago where he showed me the 15 minute short at my house. And next week, I'm going to the official screening of the movie with the rest of the crew and a few film-type peeps!! So exciting!

I'm going through some sort of school boy uniform phase right now. I got this Arthur/Eames art request on Tumblr and as you can see...



..this makes it the third time I've drawn these two as high-schoolers, but also my favorite version of all three times, even if it's a little less polished! :) I'm really happy with Arthur's face and Eames's expression...I imagine Eames repeated at least twice *cough*on purpose, so he could stay with Arthur

lol have you guys seen this? I only looked this up because I heard about it in a news article.  The Central Institute of Technology commissioned these 2 students to make a video to promote the school to prospective students. But the video ended up going viral on the internet for being totally gruesome and funny at the same time!
